So I've been working on some new products. I haveArganoil based moisturizing sticks. They have either aRosemary/Tea Treeessential oil combination, orAmber/Sandalwood. These sticks have Argan oil as the #1 ingredient by weight (unlike the popular commercial brand that uses a base of apricot kernel oil). I also have newDetox Bath Salts. They come in three varieties:Ginger, Lavender, orBentonite Clay. Each has their own therapeutic uses. I like the Ginger if I'm starting to feel sick. |

So, since I am a scent junkie I have soaped a few new scents to try them out. Some things are soooo much better in product than out of the bottle. Others are better in the bottle unfortunately. I soaped 10 new scents last night. This first group consists ofBanjo Joe(blue with speckles) it has a lot of moss, woods and spices;Emotional Rescue(pink with purple glitter) which is a wonderful and powdery Arabian sandalwood,Gold Dust Woman(gold- duh! with glitter dust) is a very green amber with moss, bergamot, violets, and vanilla musk; |

Well, I've sent the last few days with my nose in various bottles. My long awaited scents have arrived. I ordered from 4 different companies to find the ones that best suited my line of fragrances. I love to smell stuff and find myself having a hard time narrowing my scent list. I have reached the breaking point on my cabinet where I keep my scents stored. I have probably also reached my husband's breaking point on the mess of "packing peanuts". I was sniffing a recent shipment last Saturday as I was waiting for my friend to arrive. |

So, Monday we had around 6 inches of snow and the kids were blessed with a "Snow Day". My son and a neighboorhood friend were buzy sliding down our hill on inner tubes and running in and out of our basement. I was in the basement corner gathering supplies for an order and singng David Lee Roth's masterpiece "Just a Gigalo". I was just singing the "sad and lonely" part of the song, when my son bursts in and says "What is that song?" I told him what it was, and a few minutes later he says, "Thanks a lot mom. |

So, this morning I got up to find an order from my website from one of my best friends. I was quite excited, as I wasn't even sure the ordering process would work. (My lack of technical/computer skills must come as a shock to most of you! lol) I began to fill the order as I normally would, when my 2 year old ran into the kitchen sans pants and socks and wearing green high heels. She has recently discovered that she can remove her own clothing, and has begun to take it off at will. She can't manage to get it back on, so she just dances around with no pants. |

I have 3 new soaps ready. They have cured completely and are ready to get scrubbing. I have recently purchased several scents fromwww.naturesgardencandles.com The scents are amazing and soaped well. My maple bacon soap used some of thier Bacon fragrance oil. The scent is holding nicely. Their Peanut Butter Cookie scent is also in my chocolate/peanut butter concoction shown below. Hey everyone! I plan to use this as a window into my crazy and wonderful life. It's not always about soap. I have a wonderful family and love music as well. My children are both musical as well. |
